A meaningful, interactive, educational eating experience that enfolds learning about the distribution of wealth, access to food, and local and global hunger. Consider bringing a free-will offering of a canned good, ramen noodles, etc. for an area food pantry.

Turkish Coffee, Baklava, and Gifts – Fundraiser for Earthquake Disaster Relief in Turkey
A fundraiser with Turkish items will be held on the OC on Nov 10th. Purchases assist the people of Van, Turkey–home of visiting Islamic Professor Nilay Ozok-Gundogan–whose earthquake-rattled city has seen many dead and missing, and thousands of people homeless and without warmth as winter sets in.
