Cornell College’s Caribbean music groups will heat up a cold winter night with a Mardi Gras pre-tour concert in King Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23. Admission is open free to the public.

Perrine wins Sousa/Ostwald Award
Cornell College music professor Aaron Perrine has won the 2015 Sousa/Ostwald Award from the American Bandmasters Association for his composition “Only Light.”

Pandemonium, Calypso Singers heading to Mardi Gras
Cornell College’s Pandemonium steel drum band and Calypso Singers will tour to New Orleans in 2016 to perform in four parades and a concert for Mardi Gras. Crowds are expected to number more than a million people.
