Machinal opens Feb. 20
The Cornell College theatre department’s production of “Machinal,” considered on of the greatest examples of Expressionist theatre, runs Feb. 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. in Kimmel Theatre.

Expert puppeteers coming to campus
Three nationally recognized puppeteers from the Puppet Kitchen in New York City will be in residency at Cornell College this spring. They will teach courses, work with students, and direct a play based on Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky’s 1874 “Pictures at an Exhibition.”

Krag exhibit at Cornell through Nov. 30
“Gillian Pederson Krag: Paintings & Etchings” is currently on exhibit at the Peter Paul Luce Gallery in McWethy Hall at Cornell College through Nov. 30, 2014. Krag will give an artist’s lecture at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, McWethy Hall, room 222, with an artist’s reception and book signing to follow.

Almost, Maine starting Nov. 7
The Theatre Department at Cornell College is presenting “Almost, Maine,” a romantic comedy written by John Cariani starting Nov. 7 in Kimmel Theatre.

Cornell College concert features piece that combines physics, philosophy and music
The Cornell Chamber Orchestra and Concert Choir will perform “QED: Engaging Richard Feynman” at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in King Chapel. This is only the second time this ambitious piece has been performed.

Sacred Heart Archive in weeklong residency
Members of the Sacred Heart Archive are on campus for a week-long residency to support the ensemble cast of “Here and Now.” The residency will conclude with two workshops and a showing of the company’s devised production, “The Key Said Run and the Door Said Fly.” This free performance will be held on Saturday April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimmel and will be followed by a post-show discussion open to the public.
