The Hilltop will be buzzing with alumni, faculty, students, and friends as Cornell College celebrates Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2026, October 2–4.
The Alumni and Advancement Office is preparing a schedule packed with something for all campus visitors, whether you’re looking forward to sporting your favorite purple gear for the football game or celebrating a special class reunion.
“Homecoming is one of the most meaningful weekends of the year because it brings generations of Rams together,” said Director of Alumni and Donor Relations Naomi Winder. “We’re excited to add new experiences this year while continuing the traditions that make Cornell feel like home. Whether it’s your first visit back or your 50th, we hope you’ll find plenty of opportunities to reconnect.”
Pints with a Prof:
On Friday, Oct. 2, spend some time with Cornell faculty over a pint on the Orange Carpet! Enjoy casual conversation, interesting stories, and the opportunity to chat with professors outside the classroom. Catch up with a favorite faculty member, meet someone new, or learn about the exciting things happening on campus today.
Dueling Pianos:
On Friday, Oct. 2, in the SAW, Cornell hosts an unforgettable night of music, laughter, and audience participation at Dueling Pianos. The high-energy performance brings together students, alumni, and the entire Cornell community for a lively evening of crowd-driven songs, sing-alongs, and nonstop entertainment. This event promises plenty of interaction, humor, and music that spans generations.
President’s All-Alumni Dinner:
On Friday, Oct. 2, gather with alumni and friends for an evening of great food and company. This gathering, located inside a tent on Van Metre Field at Ash Park, will bring the Cornell community together while also honoring President Jonathan Brand and Rachelle LaBarge for their leadership and lasting impact on the college as Brand begins his final year.
Homecoming Football Game:
Cornell Rams take on Ripon College on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. Alums and their families are invited to the Ramily Tailgate event to enjoy good food and fun activities before the football game from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. This all-ages event also features family-friendly activities led by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, including face painting, an obstacle course, and more fun for kids.
Traditional events like the Luce Gallery art exhibit (“Be still, life.” by Professor of Art Susannah Biondo-Gemmell), the C Club Breakfast at 8 a.m. on Saturday in Thomas Commons, and Friday’s Classes without Quizzes are back on the schedule. Plus, we’ll celebrate the 50th reunion for the Class of 1976 and many other special reunions and gatherings.
