Cornell celebrates International Education Week Nov. 18–21

Join the Office of Off-Campus Studies (OCS) and the Office of Intercultural Life (ICL) in celebrating International Education Week during the first week of Block 4, Nov. 18–21.

“This exciting week is dedicated to honoring the diversity and rich cultural heritage within our campus community, and opportunities to gain insights into these cultures abroad. It’s a time to explore, connect, and celebrate the vibrant global perspectives that make our community and study abroad courses unique,” said Off-Campus Study & Experiential Learning Coordinator Danielle Linkenmeyer.

This year, 108 of our students are studying abroad in destinations across Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Indonesia, and South America.

“We’re thrilled to see these numbers and locations continue to grow,” said Linkenmeyer. “Where in the world do you see yourself studying?”

A photo contest is already underway with judging set to start during International Education Week. If you are an international student with a favorite photo from home or if you’ve traveled abroad over the past year, ICL and OCS encourage you to submit up to three photos to the International Education Photo Contest. Submissions will be accepted until Nov. 15, 2024.
