Senior interviewed in NCAA article
The NCAA published an article about DIII athletes at the NCAA Convention that included comments from Cornell College senior Jack Langan.
Langan is the incoming chair of Division III SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee). During the convention student-athletes and Special Olympics teamed up for a Special Olympics Unified Sports activity.
For Langan, the event was especially meaningful. His sister, Katie, is a Special Olympics athlete.
“(Special Olympics) just enriches my athletic experience at the Division III level,” Jack Langan told NCAA. “I’m able to give back to a community that I care about so much, and I’m able to work with my sister and other athletes in a unified way.”
You can learn more about Langan’s story in the upcoming spring (April) Cornell Report.
