Cornell celebrates International Education Week Nov. 27– Dec. 1

Cornell College is preparing to celebrate International Education Week during the first week of Block 4, Nov. 27–Dec 1.

Across the world, organizations observe the week, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, to highlight programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Cornell’s Office of Intercultural Life (ICL) is excited to bring events to the community and to celebrate international cultures and studying abroad.

“We celebrate International Education Week because education has no borders, and we want to honor that. We want to do our part in bringing the world closer together through this celebration,” said Senior Diversity Officer and Director of Intercultural Life Hemie Collier.
