Fred Taylor ’43 was featured in several news reports surrounding his participation in Cornell College’s Commencement ceremony 80 years after he was supposed to cross the stage. Taylor missed his Cornell College graduation to serve during World War II. He attended Cornell’s May 14, 2023, ceremony where he received his diploma and led the class in turning their tassels.
