Hagan featured in USA Today
Cornell College Assistant Professor of Psychology Christopher Hagan was interviewed in a USA Today article, “Light boxes, therapy and staying active: Here’s how you can combat seasonal depression,” on Nov. 22, 2022.
Hagan, who is also a licensed clinical psychologist, told USA TODAY:
“If we’re doing less of the things that we enjoy, seeing people less often, spending less time outside, getting less exercise or less activity, all of those things are going to contribute to depression for some people.”
Hagan started teaching at Cornell College in the fall of 2019. He’s originally from southern California and says his favorite class to teach is multicultural psychology. The professor focuses his research on suicide and the related areas of non-suicidal self-injury, murder-suicide, and suicide terrorism.
