Abraham featured in Literary Hub
Visiting Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing Adam Abraham had a piece published in Literary Hub, “Behind the Scenes of Roger Corman’s Campy, Culty ‘The Little Shop of Horrors,’” on Sept. 8, 2022.
Literary Hub, or Lit Hub, is an online magazine that features literary content and writings “about all things books.”
This published piece is the opening of his new book, “Attack of the Monster Musical: A Cultural History of Little Shop of Horrors,” which was just published by Bloomsbury.
Abraham has also written two other books: “When Magoo Flew: The Rise and Fall of Animation Studio UPA” and “Plagiarizing the Victorian Novel: Imitation, Parody, Aftertext.” Further, he has a history of writing for film, television, and theatre. His research interests include nineteenth-century British print and material culture; book history; intellectual property and copyright; film and new media; and adaptation.
