TV story reports Cornell’s enrollment growth
Cornell College was recently featured in a story on Iowa’s News Now, the eastern Iowa CBS affiliate, about the rise in the number of new students enrolling at Cornell.
The article, “As nationwide enrollment dips, Cornell College welcomes largest new class in 18 years,” includes an interview with Vice President for Enrollment Management Wendy Beckemeyer and first-year student Gracie Rowell.
Beckemeyer told Iowa’s News Now:
“There’s a vibrancy that happens as you increase the number of people participating in a community. We are certainly seeing that on our campus.”
2021-22 is a record-setting year as Cornell College welcomes its largest group of new students in 18 years with 404 students joining the campus community.
