“Ethical Perspectives on the News” aired a new episode called “COVID-19: What it did to/for Education” featuring Sherman and Vera Schaffer Professor of Chemistry Charley Liberko on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Cornell Professor of Computer Science Leon Tabak moderated the discussion.

The program is sponsored by the Inter-Religious Council of Linn County and aired at 5:30 a.m. on KCRG Channel 9 and at 11 a.m. on KCRG Channel 9.2. It is also available on the group’s YouTube channel.

Tabak is on the programming committee for “Ethical Perspectives on the News.” He plays a key role in organizing panel discussions, inviting guests to speak, preparing questions, and moderating the panel. The group is currently recording shows on a video conference platform, but during non-pandemic times panel members meet in the KCRG-TV9 studio.
