Kyle Jussila: Playing a sport he loves
Rams lacrosse player Kyle Jussila says he gets the best of both worlds at Cornell College—great academics and DIII athletics.
“I’ve been able to juggle hard courses for my major and play a sport that I love at the same time,” says the biochemistry and molecular biology and kinesiology major.
Last summer Jussila participated in the Cornell Summer Research Institute, discovering how COVID-19 affects fitness levels in people.
The junior from Elk River, Minnesota, is also a New Student Orientation leader and participates in Lunch Buddies at the local elementary school.
“While Kyle is on the fast track to setting every offensive record at Cornell, he is also a phenomenal student who gets involved where he can on campus,” says Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Lane Zierten.
