Max Thomason: Being a Ram has advantages
Senior Max Thomason runs cross country and competes in track & field for the Rams, and one day he hopes to work in foreign service.
This Spanish major and Environmental Club member has tried lots of new experiences in college. He interned for U.S. Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri and signed up to study Spanish in Guatemala. But his favorite course—surprisingly—was Studio Art 3D. “Hardest B I have ever gotten in my life but it showed me the value of problem solving when facing an unfamiliar task,” he says.
Being a Ram athlete has many advantages, he says.
“Not only do I have an amazing group of people who motivate me to do better, but I also learn life lessons through practices and competitions that I can use in everyday life.”
