Campus affected by Iowa storms
On Monday, August 11 at around 1:00 p.m. a major storm tore through the Midwest and Cornell College’s campus was directly in the path. Due to the storm damage we are currently without power or internet, and we have only minimal cell phone service. The same is true in nearby cities where faculty and staff have the ability to work from home. For now campus offices are closed while we await return of those services.
The good news is that structural damage to campus was minimal and we believe that no one was harmed. We do have many damaged trees that will require a concerted effort for campus clean-up. We are thankful that the college community has rallied together to assist with clean up on campus. More information will be shared as we get additional details (and can find power and wi-fi!)
