ABC affiliate reports on visit options

KCRG-TV9 produced a story about Cornell’s options for students who want to explore campus during this pandemic.

Starting June 29, Cornell College started welcoming back students for modified, in-person campus tours, following a three-month suspension due to COVID-19.

Admissions staff members or athletics coaches will lead the tours and answer any questions. Student visitors will be allowed to bring along a maximum of three guests and entry into buildings will be limited. The tours will include stops in West Science Hall, Cole Library, Thomas Commons, and Pauley Rorem (residence hall).

Visitors and Cornell staff will be required to:

  • Wear masks or face shields
  • Abide by social distancing guidelines
  • Complete Cornell’s symptom checker prior to arriving on campus
  • Stay home if feeling ill
