National radio show highlights faculty research
“The Academic Minute,” which airs on Northeast Public Radio and is featured on the Inside Higher Ed website, featured a week-long series of reports about research happening at Cornell College.
Featured projects include Tammy Mildenstein speaking about monarch butterflies, Craig Teague speaking on CO2 emissions, Rhawn Dennison speaking on climate change, Barbara Christie-Pope speaking on Parkinson’s Disease, and Tyler Carrington speaking on the history of love and dating.
According to the website, “The Academic Minute” features researchers from colleges and universities around the world, keeping listeners abreast of what’s new and exciting in the academy and of all the ways academic research contributes to solving the world’s toughest problems and to serving the public good.
