Kauper elected AATC president

Kate Kauper, Associate Professor of Education, has been elected as president of the American Association for Teaching and Curriculum (AATC). 

Photo of Kate KauperThe organization is dedicated to scholarship in teaching and curriculum and serves the general public through its conferences, journals, and the interaction of its members nationwide. 

Kauper has been a member of AATC since 2010 and has previously served as an executive council member and associate editor for Curriculum and Teaching Dialogue, the AATC’s journal.

Kauper received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Ph.D. in education from the University of Iowa. She joined the  Cornell College faculty in 2010 and teaches courses including History of American Education; Education Policy and Practice; and Secondary Curriculum and Instruction.
