Andrea Herrera ’85 assists Berry Career Institute

Andrea Herrera ’85 assists the Berry Career Institute by hosting interns and hiring Cornellians. 

Herrera is president of Amazing Edibles Catering in Chicago.

She hosts LEADS visits and interns and hires graduates, including Becca Wilson ’05, Matt Roberts ’09, Anh Pham ’16, Husani Newbold ’18, Marissa Czapla ’20, and Maya Peske ’20.

She’s active with the Cornell College Club of Chicago, repeatedly attends student-alumni networking events, and is a former College Alumni Association director.

“I feel so fortunate to have worked with so many amazing Cornell students and alumni. I am all about connection. I know how integral the alumni who befriended me were in helping me with business opportunities when I had a startup company and mentoring me into my first board position. I also know that I, and my company, have benefited tremendously from the students’  gifts and talents. I believe that we have opened a few doors, exposed them to some new ideas and practices, given them a taste of what it is to work in a small entrepreneurial company in a big city and, I hope, have influenced their paths in positive ways.”
