Knoop interviewed for Outside magazine article

Outside magazine published an article on Jan. 22, 2019, featuring David Joyce Professor of Economics and Business Todd Knoop, “The 5 Best Places to Take Advantage of a Strong Dollar.”

The story focuses on giving tips on where travelers can get the most bang for their buck when taking off to international destinations.

In the article the economics professor, who has published a book called “The Traveling Economist: Using Economics to Think about What Makes Us All So Different and the Same,” suggested visiting Spain and Portugal, among many places, during 2019. Knoop told Outside magazine, “The dollar remains high against the euro, and Spain and Portugal are not as affluent as the rest of Europe, so there are still good deals to be found.”
