KCRG-TV9 airs Russell Science Center story
The Cornell College community celebrated the first official day of classes in the new Russell Science Center with a short ceremony on Nov. 26, 2018.
KCRG-TV9 aired a story on the opening with a comment from Cornell Trustee and lead donor Jean Russell ’65.
“[I’m] excited, just as all the faculty and students are. [I’m] just really a little bit overwhelmed because we knew it was coming, but to actually see it in use now is just fantastic,” Russell said.
The building is part of a $35 million Science Facilities Project, which also includes the renovation of West Hall and Law Hall. Cornell will officially dedicate Russell Science Center next fall.
