Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun reports on public history projects

Tessa McEarchern ’19, Connor Smith ’19, and Dani Grandinetti ’21 were recently interviewed in a Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun story about their work to preserve history in Mount Vernon and Lisbon.

The students are working on research and internship projects with Mount Vernon Historic Preservation Commission member Mary Evans and Cornell Professor of History Catherine Stewart.

“The internships are an exceptional opportunity for our students to get their hands on history and help bring it to life for the community to benefit from as well,” Stewart said in the story.
