Gazette, CBS2 highlight homelessness research
Three Cornell College students, Mia Farinas ’20, Sloane Bartelme ’19, and Nicola Etter ’19, teamed up with Willis Dady Homeless Services in Cedar Rapids for several weeks this summer to conduct research.
The community-based research focused on the path of eviction and increasing the awareness of homelessness through videos and social media.
The (Cedar Rapids) Gazette and CBS2 created stories on the research.
Associate Professor of Sociology Tori Barnes-Brus and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Misha Quill worked with the students throughout the project.
