Kristi Robinson-Bontrager ’92 (Responding to the spring Cornell Report story on the 40th anniversary of One Course)

As we near April 15, I was just telling Dan [Bontrager ’90] that Cornell College really prepared us for the crunch time of tax season: You can do anything for 3 1/2 weeks.

Karen Sprafke ’99 (responding to the Cornell Report image of Professor Emeritus of English Rich Martin)

Love this man! I remember trying to figure out his gestures in class. Then it hit me: he punctuates his thoughts with drum fills. Thank you for everything, Professor Martin!

Jason Turley ’93 (responding to a photo of Cornell’s four new professors emeriti)

Wow! Lump in my throat. The countless lives these four shaped and impacted is immeasurable. Congratulations all and job well done!

Its no secret the impact Cornell College had on my life. I grew so much emotionally & intellectually during my four years there﹘an impact I still feel in my daily life.

I know now that I was afforded some of the opportunities and financial assistance because of generous alumni. Now Im glad to do a small part to do the same for current and future students.

Sue Astley (on Color It Purple day of giving)

It has been my privilege to work with wonderful students and colleagues for 36 years at Cornell College. I made a donation today in honor of them, and especially of Diane Crowder, a wonderful former colleague and lasting friend.

Ethan Weiss ’91

Very proud of my alma mater Cornell College for commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day today and hosting this incredibly important talk!

Terrific visit at Cornell College last night. Discussed renewal of liberal democracy not Renewable Fuel Standards. Would love to spend more time out here; if only Cedar Rapids were on the Acela … [Amtrak Express]
