Alumna’s gallery featured in The Gazette

Becky Popelka ’02 has opened Big Picture Gallery and Studio in North Liberty, Iowa, and was featured Dec. 18 in The (Cedar Rapids) Gazette.

Her business offers children’s art classes, workshops and parties, wine and paint parties for adults, and pieces for sale by local artists.

“My goal when I started college and learned more about myself was to be my own boss,” she told The Gazette. “But first I had to establish myself as an artist, teacher and professional in the community.”
