“Vinegar Tom” opens at Theatre Cedar Rapids (TCR) on March 31 and “Making God Laugh” opens at Old Creamery Theatre on April 20.

In December West directed the Cornell production of Christopher Durang’s “Why Torture is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them.”

“The theatrical opportunities in The Corridor are amazing. So many of our students head to The Old Creamery and TCR for internships and return with an incredible resume of experiences,” West said. “The Old Creamery always does such great work and it’s great to get back to TCR and work with a Cornell alumna, artistic director Leslie Charipar.”

“Vinegar Tom” examines gender and power relationships through the lens of the 17th century witchcraft trials. The play will run from March 31 through April 16. Tickets are $18 for students and $24 for adults and are available at the TCR box office Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. or online.

“Making God Laugh” follows one typical American family over the course of 30 years’ worth of holidays. The play runs from April 20 through May 14. Tickets are $19.50 for students and $31 for adults and are available at the Old Creamery box office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or online.
