Justin Brown ’12 honored by Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Cornell College alumnus Justin Brown ’12 is receiving a special designation as one of Milwaukee’s Finest.
Brown is among a group of 16 young professionals who have been selected as honorees because they have shown exemplary leadership, are active in their community, and have excelled in their profession.
At Cornell, Brown was the vice president of Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society, a member of the Mortar Board Society, co-captain of the baseball team, and station manager for KRNL-FM.
The Milwaukee’s Finest program is in its fifth year and was created to emphasize the importance of philanthropy and community involvement for young professionals. Created by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the program spans 12 weeks, beginning with a nomination process and including networking opportunities, and leadership workshops. Each honoree is also matched with a local family impacted by Cystic Fibrosis.
Brown is working with a family whose little boy, Easton, has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.
Each honoree has a task of raising $2,500 for the Wisconsin Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to support research and education programs.
