John Tisdale ’54
Psychologist and minister John Tisdale ’54 died Nov. 28, 2015, in Slatington, Pennsylvania, at age 82.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he taught at Cornell in the psychology department from 1961 to 1966. He was an ordained minister and professor emeritus of psychology at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Tisdale was the founder of the Lehigh Valley Psychological Association and a fellow of the American Psychological Association. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty, a daughter, two sons, and three grandchildren.
