Cornell collects 3 CASE District VI gold awards

Cornell College recently won three gold awards in the District VI Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) competition.

The awards and those recognized were:

  • Responsive Website Redesign. Jeff Walberg, project manager; Allan Recalde, creative director; Happy Medium, project design/development; Mike Plagge, technical lead; Summer Gaasedelen, writer.
  • Cornell College Brochure: What Will You Bring?, the college’s major student recruitment publication. Allan Recalde, creative director; Summer Gaasedelen, writer.
  • Cornell College Admitted Student Packet. Allan Recalde, creative director.

Colleen Murphy, Cornell’s vice president for enrollment and dean of admission, said the awards were indicative of the quality of the marketing and communications staff.

“I am pleased that Cornell College’s communications professionals have been recognized by their peers for outstanding work. Their recognition is richly deserved,” Murphy said.

The awards were presented at the annual district conference Jan. 24-26 in Kansas City. CASE District VI represents Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. This large geographic area includes every size and type of institution.
