Clint Parry ’09 named a Legoland master builder
Clint Parry ’09 was named the master model builder for Legoland Discovery Center Michigan after winning a LEGO Brick-building competition and job interview on Jan. 10.
Parry competed with 90 builders in the two-day event that also showcased each builder’s ability to work with crowds and children. According to an article in Crain’s Detroit Business, he used LEGO Bricks to build a desktop computer and monitor with an ejectable floppy disc, impressing the judges with its inventiveness and functionality.
Parry will take the position of master model builder in preparation for the center’s spring opening. He will be responsible for building exhibits, planning special displays and field trips, working with the center’s building academy, and interacting with visitors, according to Crain’s.
Parry, of Wauseon, Ohio, was an English major at Cornell College.
