The college kicked off what is planned to be a series of Republican and Democratic candidate visits with a nationally publicized town hall meeting on Oct. 7 by former first lady, senator, and secretary of state Hillary Clinton. After her public appearance, Clinton was interviewed by PBS NewsHour co-anchor Judy Woodruff at the Garner President’s House.

Cornell does not endorse any candidate or political party. It does support critical thinking and analysis of political candidates and how to become civically engaged in the American democratic process. Watch news.cornellcollege.edu for announcements of upcoming speakers.
