Distinguished Achievement Award

Judy Hesler Jorgensen ’60 is a Cornell College trustee whose volunteer leadership has benefited numerous nonprofits in the Milwaukee area. During her 24-year career at Waukesha County Technical College, she focused on students who needed a second chance to complete their educations, retiring as dean of academic support.

Young Alumni Award

David Lienemann ’05 is the official White House photographer to Vice President Joe Biden.

Leadership and Service Awards

  • Ann Ruby Hemken ’54 has served her classmates as class agent for 25 years.
  • Duane Carlson ’55 served as vice president of national communications at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a platform he pioneered to focus national attention on healthy lifestyles.
  • Robert McLennan ’65 is a Cornell College trustee and a real estate executive with deep community involvement.
  • Andrea Herrera ’85 is president of Amazing Edibles Gourmet Catering, past-president of the Cornell College Club of Chicago, and a former Alumni Board member.
