Alumni art show opening Sept. 13

Cornell College is hosting an exhibition of art created by alumni from Sunday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 11.

“Alumni Invitational: Video & Integrated Media,” features work by Tim Porter ’12, Anna Henson ’06, Cole Pierce ’00, Colin Ives ’87, and Kristine Diekman ’79.

Ives, along with Diekman, will give a gallery talk as part of the opening reception scheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13 in the Peter Paul Luce Gallery in McWethy Hall. Another reception is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, as part of the college’s Homecoming and Family Weekend programming.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Peter Paul Luce Gallery programming is funded through the generosity of the Henry Luce Foundation, Inc. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information contact Sue Coleman or call 319-895-4491.
