Cornell College Viewbook receives CASE award
Cornell College’s admission viewbook, the college’s signature recruiting publication, has received a bronze award in the international 2015 Circle of Excellence Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The viewbook was one of more than 3,200 entries in 100 categories from 720 higher education institutions, independent schools, and nonprofits from around the world. Judges gave 93 bronze, 106 silver, 91 gold, and 17 grand gold awards. It was awarded in the Student Recruitment Publications: Publications Packages category.
Cornell was the only small private college awarded within CASE District VI, representing Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
Staff responsible for the viewbook are Allan Recalde, creative director; Summer Gaasedelen, writer; Sharon Grice, admissions operations; Dee Ann Rexroat, director of marketing; Colleen Murphy, vice president of enrollment.
Winners are selected based on overall quality, innovation, use of resources, and the impact on the institution or its external and internal communities.
