Relay For Life set for March 28
Cornell College’s 13th annual Relay For Life will take place from 3 p.m. March 28 through 3 a.m. March 29 at the Small MultiSport Center.
The event’s theme is “Through the Decades,” so participants are invited to dress in the style of their favorite decade and also decorate their campsite in the style of a decade. The opening ceremony at 3 p.m. will feature Cornell College senior and cancer survivor Keiko Brunson. Other events planned for the relay include:
- A ukulele club performance at 5 p.m.
- Face painting from 5-7 p.m.
- Dinner at 6 p.m.
- Sponsorship lap at 6:30 p.m.
- Luminaria ceremony to honor those lost to cancer at 7 p.m.
- Lyrically Inclined performance at 10 p.m.
- PINQ performance at 11 p.m.
- A cake to celebrate more birthdays, the national theme of Relay for Life, at midnight
- Closing ceremonies starting at 2:30 a.m.
