Cornell College honored for value

For the fifth year in a row business publisher Kiplinger has named Cornell College one of the 100 best values in liberal arts colleges.

The ranking system considers the competitiveness of the admission process, academic support offered by the college, cost and financial aid, and student indebtedness. Cornell has been included in the list of the liberal arts colleges that offer the best value since the list was expanded to 100 in 2011.

“We’re very pleased that Kiplinger has again recognized the value that Cornell College provides,” said Colleen Murphy, vice president for enrollment and dean of admission. “Cornell is committed to offering a life-changing education that’s affordable and accessible. We understand how important affordability and value are to families, and we’re proud that Kiplinger has recognized our commitment.”

Cornell is consistently recognized for the value it provides, including by Washington Monthly, which ranked Cornell College #63 among 224 selective colleges considered “Affordable Elite Colleges.” Cornell is one of only two schools in Iowa on that list.
