One member of the Cornell community was fatally injured in a motor vehicle accident on Monday.
Connor Robinson, a first-year student from Illinois, was killed in a crash on Highway 30 near Clinton, Iowa, shortly after noon on Monday.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Connor,” said President Jonathan Brand. “Cornell is a close-knit community and everyone is affected.”
A gathering will be held at 7 p.m. today for residents of Pauley-Rorem Hall, where Connor lived. A campus gathering is scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday in Allee Chapel.
