Art show features current, emeriti faculty
A show featuring Cornell College Studio Art & Emeriti faculty will be exhibited at the Peter Paul Luce Gallery at Cornell College from Sunday, Sept. 7 through Oct. 19.
The exhibition features works by emeriti faculty Vivian Heywood (painting, prints), Hugh Lifson (painting, mixed media), and Doug Hanson (ceramics) and works by studio art faculty Susannah Biondo-Gemmell (sculpture, installation), Anthony Plaut (painting, sculpture, video), Sandy Dyas (photo installation) and Sue Coleman (pastel painting, drawing, collage).
An artists’ reception will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, from 2-4 p.m. in McWethy Hall. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m.
A second reception will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 3-5 p.m. in conjunction with Cornell College Homecoming & Family Weekend, Oct. 17–19.
Peter Paul Luce Gallery programming is funded through the Henry Luce Foundation, Inc. and sponsored by the Department of Art & Art History.
