Iowa Private College Week Aug. 4-8

During the week of Aug. 4-8, Cornell College will participate in Iowa Private  College Week, welcoming students with tours and information sessions daily at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All sessions start at the Thomas Commons.

  • tour campus

  • sit in on a faculty/student panel

  • learn about Cornell’s distinctive One Course At A Time curriculum

The first full week of August is traditionally Iowa Private College Week, when Iowa’s 26 non-profit, private colleges synchronize campus tour schedules across the state, making it easy for students and parents to schedule up to 10 campus visits in only one week. Campus tours help students learn about the strong academics, high graduation and job placement rates and financial aid that make private colleges an affordable and great quality option.

Students who end up attending one of the colleges they visit during Iowa Private College Week will be included in a drawing for a $500 bookstore gift certificate at their school.
