POETRY FOR MY PUBLIC is Catherine Wagner and Dana Ward! 5 p.m. Friday, May 2 @ the Cornell College Center for the Literary Arts: 408 3rd Street SW, Mount Vernon. CATHERINE WAGNER’s collections of poems include Nervous Device (City Lights, 2012), My New Job (Fence, 2009), Macular Hole (Fence, 2004), Miss America (Fence, 2001); and a dozen chapbooks, including Imitating (Leafe Press, 2004). Her poems and essays have appeared in Abraham Lincoln, Lana Turner, New American Writing, 1913, How2, Cambridge Literary Review, Action, Yes, and other magazines. An anthology she co-edited with Rebecca Wolff, Not for Mothers Only, was published by Fence in 2007. She is Associate Professor of English at Miami University in Ohio. DANA WARD is the author of The Crisis of Infinite Worlds (Futurepoem Books, 2013), This Can’t Be Life (Edge Books, 2012), and several chapbooks, including Typing ‘Wild Speech’ (2010), The Drought (2009), Goodnight Voice (2008), and New Couriers(2006). He lives in Cincinnati, where he hosts the Cy Press Poetry @ Thunder Sky reading series and edits, along with Paul Coors, Perfect Lovers Press.
