Loomer recognized for social media blog

Jonloomer.com by Jon Loomer ’97 was named No. 1 blog about social media by the Social Media Examiner website.

Loomer’s work was praised by the site for his knowledge about Facebook marketing, along with his in-depth articles that explain social media marketing.

Loomer graduated from Cornell College with a B.A. in philosophy. He worked for the National Basketball Association doing marketing and strategy for their Fantasy Sports program as well as for the American Cancer Society doing digital and social media marketing before becoming an independent consultant. In addition to the articles on his site, he produces how-to videos and a regular social media podcast.
