FDIC Financial Management Scholars information session
FDIC Financial Management Scholars information session in the Thomas Commons, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Nov. 14.
The FDIC Financial Management Scholars Program is a paid internship program. It provides highly-qualified college students majoring in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, and related fields with hands-on experience evaluating bank operations, business planning, risk management strategies, and consumer protection practices during a period in which banks are still recovering from the recent financial crisis. Two current Cornell seniors were selected for the program during summer 2013 and will share their experiences as interns. Both have been hired for full-time positions at the FDIC following graduation.
