Holdcraft elected Young Trustee
Kalissa Holdcraft ’13 has been named the Class of 2013 Young Trustee.
Holdcraft, a politics major who will attended the University of Iowa College of Law on a full scholarship next year, will serve a three-year term on the college’s board of trustees.
She has participated in numerous activities on campus, including serving as president of Student Senate; president of Cornell’s pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta; Senior Gift Campaign Committee chair; Mortar Board alumni relations chair; Greek Council Representative for Phi Omega; and student representative to the Strategic Planning Committee.
In his announcement of her election, Cornell College President Jonathan Brand said that Holdcraft’s goal was to make Cornell a better place, something that she has achieved.
