DeAngeles named trustee
Steven DeAngeles ’84, a physician in Chicago, has been named to the Cornell College Board of Trustees.
DeAngeles is a physician in Internal Medicine with teaching positions at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Additionally, he has been granted three U.S. patents in the alternative energy field. He recently started Innovative Technology Advisors which is working with the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois on the Chicago Living Waterway Project.
DeAngeles comes from a family with strong Cornell connections. Steven and his wife Sallie Marotta DeAngeles ’86 have raised three daughters.
His father is Robert DeAngeles ’58, a dentist in Melrose Park and his brother David DeAngeles ’85 (wife Shawn Krueger ’87) is a surgeon in Madison, Wis.
