The college Chaplain’s office and close friends of Addie Hubert, the first-year student who was killed in a car crash on March 23, are organizing a memorial service for Addie scheduled for Thursday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. in Kimmel Theatre. A brief reception will follow the memorial.
Students can leave tributes to Addie on one of the construction walls on the middle level of the Thomas Commons. Writing materials will be available at the wall.
Members of the Gammas are distributing pink ribbons to members of campus. The ribbons are to honor Addie and Colin Bertucci, the sophomore who was also injured in the crash.
Colin remains in the hospital, but his condition has improved significantly. Hospital officials are now allowing limited visits to Colin from close friends.
Counseling and support is still available for students, faculty and staff who are grieving Addie’s death.
