Green appointed to Iowa Board of Psychology
Melinda Green, associate professor of psychology at Cornell College, has been appointed to the Iowa Board of Psychology.
The board is made up of five members who are licensed to practice psychology and two unlicensed members who represent the general public. Of the five members who are licensed to practice psychology, one member is primarily engaged in graduate teaching in psychology, two members practice psychology, one member represents areas of applied psychology, and one member is primarily engaged in research psychology.
The board evaluates the qualifications of applicants for licensure and grants licenses to those who qualify, establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensed psychologists, and investigates complaints for unprofessional conduct.
