Cornell women’s basketball team rolls to 15-0 start

The Cornell women’s basketball team put the rest of their new Midwest Conference foes on notice this season, rolling to an impressive 15-0 start before finally losing on the road to perennial conference power St. Norbert. The Rams rejoined the MWC in 2012 after competing in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the past 14 years.

The Rams, ranked as high as No. 17 in the national polls, are 9-0 at home with an average victory margin of 20.6 points in such contests. Coach Brent Brase’s Rams became just the third team in program history to notch 15 wins in a season, and the first since the 18-8 squad in 1999-00.

Here are some scenes from their remarkable run.
