Trebil, Hudson among Forty Under 40 honorees
Two Cornellians were chosen by the Corridor Business Journal as Forty Under 40 award winners: Director of Civic Engagement Kara Trebil, and past Alumni Board member and Cedar Rapids attorney Mark Hudson ’99. They will be profiled in the Journal on Oct. 22.
Trebil, who has been at Cornell since 2008, oversees the college’s Office of Civic Engagement, which manages programs that connect students with opportunities to serve and lead in the community. You can read more about the college’s Civic Engagement efforts here.
Hudson is a vice president at Shuttleworth and Ingersoll, a Cedar Rapids-based law firm. In addition to his work there, he is involved in volunteer work with the Iowa State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Iowa Board of Social Work. He served on the college’s alumni board from 2006 to 2011.
