Sen. Rick Santorum visiting Cornell on 12/12

Republican Presidential candidate Sen. Rick Santorum will speak at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the Hedges Conference Room in the Thomas Commons. The talk is open to the public and is part of the ongoing Presidential Candidates Visit program.

Santorum will also speak with local media from 3 to 3:15 p.m., meet privately with Cornell’s College Republicans from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m.

Purpose

Cornell College, a vibrant liberal arts college in Mount Vernon, Iowa, seeks to engage its students and community in the 2012 Presidential election process. Cornell’s mission is to sustain “a community devoted to liberal learning and democratic values,” and to that end, the college encourages student participation in the state of Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses. Throughout the election season, Cornell will host candidates for the Presidency of the United States of America.
