Interfaith Alliance National President Speaks on Keeping U.S. Politics & Religion Separate

The Chaplain and Spiritual Life Office is co-hosting a non-partisan evening event at Coe College addressing the dangers our country faces as politics and religion become increasingly intertwined on Nov 30th. The chaplain is seeking a delegation of Cornell students, faculty, staff and friends to attend this Coe-Cornell-Interreligious Council of Linn County public lecture featuring national president of Interfaith Alliance, The Rev. Dr. C. Welton Gaddy. Gaddy, who provides regular commentary to the national media on issues relating to religion and politics, appears regularly in venues such as MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann and The Rachel Maddow Show, NBC’s Evening News and Dateline, PBS’s Religion and Ethics Newsweekly and The Newshour with Jim Lehrer, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, ABC’s World News Tonight, and CNN’s The World Today with Wolf Blitzer.
